About
I am a teacher, historian, writer, researcher, editor, community volunteer, jewelry-maker, designer, and untrained-but-enthusiastic photographer who is lucky enough to live in a log cabin in the mountains of Montana.
I am disabled, a dog mom, and a useful heat pump for my cats. I am allergic to the sun but love the outdoors, especially hiking and biking. I am married to the boy I met in college when we were both 19, and this is blog is a way to remember our adventures, challenges, and beautiful life of 20+ years together.
I have a lot to say, about pretty much everything, but especially Lupus, being active while disabled, childlessness, history, gender, and the environment. I've tried a lot and learned a lot and made a lot of mistakes. I write about my experiences so I can remember, and in the hopes that I can make others feel less alone.
Thank you for reading.
